Stretch Fit Highkey Backdrop

This was so easy to use, wrinkle free straight out of the bag and no shine or reflections. Easy to light to almost pure white. Long enough to to lift up really high and still have a large floor area of white too. Nice for clients to sit and lie on - better than paper

Non Wrinkle White Backdrop

Needing a portrable solution to a white backdrop without lugging a paper roll or using the frustrating Hi-Lite product found me trying this white cloth.

Although it says wrinkle free, at first it feels as if there are some left over - BUT they DON'T SHOW with a bit of gentle lighting. Felcro tabs doen the side allow you to pull the cloth tighter, but I just use a few "A" clamps for speed.

The cloth seems to accept light very well and gives a very even white with little effort. I found overlighting by about 2/3 to a stop worked well and then a minor tweak in post to get absolute white.

Almost no "bounce-back" which means no more flare or contrast adjustments.

Interestingly the white is quite "white" and I find it only about 150K cooler than my subject, (at daylight temp), which is very close indeed. Again this reduces any post work.

Working in a confined 15" x 10" studio, I was able to shoot mid shot portraits with a perfect white and almost no white wrap from the cloth. (Soft box either side for the cloth and a single 4ft softbox for the subject light).

THIS will be the material of choice for my white backgrounds on location.

At 20ft long it gets a bit unweildy and once out of the nice little bag it's a bit of a tight fit to get back in. (I may cut mine down to 15ft). For a bigger bag I found a great one in IKEA (Humlare Waste Sorting Bag).
