The addition of a minature Ball and Socket Head to the Multi Purpose Clamp makes this an even more versatile studio accessory. As well as being used to secure leads and backgrounds, additional accessories that utilise a standard 1/4 inch tripod thread can also be attached (such as off camera cords or flashguns) and placed at a precise angle to acheive the desired effect.
